You connect your own API key and pay your provider directly for any paid usage. Costs depend on the model, the amount of writing and how much you dictate. Check your provider's pricing and usage dashboard. None of those usage payments goes to ProofFlick.
A Mac version is coming later. It has not been started and there is no date, so there is nothing to sign up to yet. When there is something real to show, it will be here.
Your ProofFlick licence covers ProofFlick on Windows. Any future macOS version is a separate product and is not included in this licence.

You create an account with a provider you trust, paste one API key into ProofFlick during setup, and from then on your text goes directly from your PC to that provider. They bill you for paid usage at their own rates. Groq’s free tier needs no credit card, but has usage limits. Text and dictation provider options differ; the app guides you through each setup.
